Unified data to deliver a seamless and convenient shopping experience

Since 2012, Rains has set out to rethink quality rainwear. Based on an initiative to reinterpret the traditional rubber raincoat in a novel way, Rains launched with just one product: a poncho. The season after, Rains launched with a full collection of waterproof apparel, bags, and accessories. Today, each collection continues in the same spirit; providing a mix between revitalized designs from rainwear archives and original rainwear solutions found exclusively at Rains.

Rains is yet another example of Danish brands to conquer the world. With a unique product line, combining high fashion with function, they have been able to grow dramatically through their wholesale business in 30 countries as well as own e-commerce and concept stores, which has seen rapid growth recently as they have accelerated their D2C efforts.

With a solid foundation and growing customer base Rains has realized the importance of leveraging a unified data environment to deliver a seamless and convenient shopping experience. With Voyado’s new Shopify marketplace app and standard integration to Point of Sale solution Sitoo, Rains will be able to easily create a single source of truth and consequently get the insights needed to deliver relevant and personal interactions across channels.

The first step of the project will be to integrate and take in customer data from the POS and consequently all physical stores. The next phase will then be to create a unified environment across e-commerce and physical stores, which will allow Rains to easily onboard, identify and track customer engagement and interactions throughout their entire journey regardless of channels and markets.
